What are the best colored pencils for a Middle School Art Cl?

I teach art to middle school students. I am constantly frustrated by colored pencils that break, especially when sharpened. I recently took over for another teacher so I have the following brands: crayola, foohy, and prang. I'm trying to find a student grade colored pencil that doesn't break as easily as others and is not too costly. Thanks.
