How to hang wallpaper?

I am wanting to wallpaper my hall as the plaster is not too good.The problem is, it has 8 doors and 2 of these are slightly recessed. Does any one know of a good DIY manual with an idiots guide? I have recently wallpapered the lounge and dinning room so have had some practice.
