Should I break up with him?

ok so i've been going out with my boyfriend for 5 months. long time for an eight grader. we say i love you, and i still love him but it just isn't the same in anyway. he brought up the other day we have relationship problems. my parents always ruin our plans to see each other but never on purpose. & now he's starting to believe those stupid fwds that say "send or u'll have relationship problems". plus i'm starting to like another guy who's totally opposite. hes ok w/ pda while my other boyfriend is against it and way innocent. it really got to me and i want to break up with him but i REALLY don't want to hurt him. i mean he never calls, he just texts me and when we're together he doesn't even act like a boyfriend. but its very hard. /:
