Is there a certain moral competitiveness going on between Baptist/Evangelicals and Mormons?

The essential core of any religion is maintaining control of the group and beliefs . If skirmishes occur in the trenches it is not the goal of the religion. There are many many believes who don't have a religious group to follow.
