I am leaving this weekend to help my son with my 2 grandchildren , any ideas of fun or gifts?

My daughter-in-law has a business trip and will be away for close to a week. I am going to help. Usually I take a surprise for the grandchildren.(grandson4, and granddaughter 9 months). This time I would love to take or do something unique, any suggestions.?
